Who?

A very popular and well subscribed ride led by Ian.

Where did you go?

If you like the Beatles … it's The Cavern Club

If you like football … it's The Nou Camp

If you like Gaudi architecture … it's Barcelona

If you like Shakespeare … it's Stratford on Avon

If you like coffee shops … it's JADES in Newtown Linford where we went today. Fantastic to sit out the front, more than ever now that Severn Trent have finished their works.

How did you get there?

Route out:- Quorn - Thurcaston - Through Bradgate Park - Newtown Linford,

Route back:- Through Bradgate Park - Swithland and Woodhouse.

How many miles did you clock up?

It was just over 22 miles, arriving, back in Loughborough at around 1245.

Short Ride 2

After the other 3 rides had departed, just Eric, Dennis and Margaret remained for a ride to Bawdon Lodge Farm.

Heading out through the University Eric discovered that he had a broken spoke in his rear wheel and, deciding that discretion was the better part of valour, chose to head for home.

The reduced group head on through Shepshed to join Tickow Lane and then Charley Road to Bawdon Lodge.

After refreshment the riders returned to Loughborough over Beacon Hill with a fast descent through Woodhouse Eaves.
